There's a Delhi connection between Shah Rukh and Virat. Both Shah Rukh and Virat hail from Delhi. Anushka Sharma has also mentioned in an interview about Delhi, saying, "People think I'm from Delhi. Perhaps because in my film 'Band Baaja Baaraat,' I played a character from Delhi, and people thought I'm a girl from Janakpuri in West Delhi." Interestingly, Virat Kohli also spent his childhood in West Delhi. There have been several occasions where the proximity between Kohli, Anushka, and Shah Rukh has been evident.
Earlier this year, Shah Rukh's film "Pathan" was released on January 25th. After the release, during the IPL tournament, Shah Rukh was seen trying to dance to the song "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom" on the field, showing his support for Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore team. Kohli, on the other hand, plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, while Shah Rukh owns the Kolkata Knight Riders team. Even after an IPL match, there was a shared picture in April where Shah Rukh is seen expressing affection for Kohli.
