Belgium Dominates European Championship Qualification: Group Victory Secured with Commanding 5-0 Triumph Over Azerbaijan

Romelu Lukaku found the net four times. Austria is in second position and will not be disqualified from the draw for the first pot finals because of this. Austria no longer stands a risk of missing out on the draw for the December 2, 2024, European Football Championship final in Germany. The "Red Devils" defeated Azerbaijan 5-0 on Sunday, demonstrating their strength, and the OFB selection finished Qualifying Group F just one point behind Belgium for second place. Romelu Lukaku, an Italian legionnaire, was exceptional prior to the break with his perfect four-pack (17th, 26th, 30th, 37th).
The 30-year-old striker is the first player from Belgium to score four goals while wearing a club jersey in almost thirty years. Josip Weber also recorded a five-pack during that June 1994 international friendly match against Zambia. Lukaku is without a doubt the most effective striker in the now-ending qualification campaign, having scored 83 goals. He scored 83 goals for the national team, up from 80 previously. Lukaku secured the ideal beginning after placing the ball between two defenders in the penalty area following Jeremy Doku's cross. Having just received the first yellow card a few minutes earlier, Adi was given a traffic light card in the 24th minute after Lukaku was fouled. For the favorites, things got much easier. Following Doku's header for Timothy Castagne, Lukaku finished unmarked and with little effort.
